The Wraith is a mob that spawns in Ghostly Biomes at night and in Ghost Fortresses. It and the Ghost are the only mobs that can spawn on air. The Wraith is a stronger version of the Ghost in nature.
Overview[]
The Wraith has 30 HP (15 hearts) and does 
damage upon contact. This would not be so bad on its own, but the Ghostly Biome's openness to the Void makes it very dangerous indeed.
Note that the Wraith can float about 2-4 blocks above the ground level and flies at about 1.5x speed as the player walks.
It can also pass through all blocks except Block of Iron, Obsidian, Bedrock and Command Blocks.
