The Iron Apple is a food item added by the Machinated Minecraft idea pack. It is crafted from 8 Iron Ingots and 1 Apple, making it fairly cheap. The Iron Apple can be consumed, giving the player 2 hunger bars back and giving them Resistance II for 5 seconds. The Iron Apple can be consumed even when the player is at full hunger, like the Golden Apple.
