The Blast Chamber is a structure added by the Machinated Minecraft idea pack. The block itself is pointless, but when placed and right-clicked with an empty hand, the Blast Chamber will expand into a larger structure, made up of obsidian, two redstone lamps, and obsidian doors. Breaking these obsidian doors, obsidian, and redstone lamps will drop nothing. The Obsidian Doors can only be obtained via creative mode.

Blast Chamber, locked. To trigger explosion, the doors must be shut. After five seconds, the blast will occur.
After the explosion, four glowstone dust is left. The redstone lamps below are indestructible, much like the wooden objects - They will go back on upon 'reloading', a period of about five seconds, as long as you put TNT in the chamber. After the five seconds, the TNT is absorbed)

The Mechanics of the chamber are as follows:

| Nether Brick (block) | Nether Brick (item) | A total of four nether bricks can be obtained. The Blast Chamber will always drop at least one, but each one after that has a 33% drop chance, so obtiaining all four has a 3.5% chance. |
| Sandstone | Sand | A total of sixteen sand can be obtained from each blast. The Blast Chamber will always drop four, but each one after that has a 66% drop chance, so obtaining all sixteen has a 0.6% chance. |
| Block of Quartz | Nether Quartz | A total of four Nether Quartz can be obtained from each blast. The Blast Chamber will always drop one, but each one after that has a 44% drop chance, so obtaining all four has an 8.5% chance |
| Brick (Block) | Brick (Item) | A total of four bricks can be obtained from each blast. Each brick has a 50% drop chance. For every Undropped Brick (if two are dropped, two are left, etc.), two Broken Bricks will spawn. Obtaining all four bricks has a 6.25% drop chance. |
